In March 2024, Red Globe helped Christ College set the stage for their Graduation Ceremony at PLC Croydon. This event showcased our expertise with top-notch Audio and Video Streaming services. We had a tight schedule in the Audrey Keown Theatre. Our team efficiently managed a complete setup in an impressive 30 minutes.
Our technical setup featured the Allen & Heath dLive C1500 console and DM0 Mix Rack, paired with the Shure Axient wireless system, to deliver flawless audio. We utilised the house PA. We equipped the venue with DPA 4097 Microphones for crystal-clear lectern and ambient audio capture. A significant highlight was the introduction of our new BlackMagic Studio 6K Cameras. We coupled these with our BlackMagic ATEM Mini to provide high-definition live streaming through Vimeo. Christ College leveraged this technology to stream the graduation globally on their website, offering an inclusive virtual attendance experience.
Facing the challenge of connectivity in a demanding venue, our 5G Capable Mobile vRouter system ensured a smooth, uninterrupted streaming service. We further enriched the visual experience for on-site attendees and online viewers with the seamless integration of QLab and NDI for projections and slide transitions.
Under Andrew Yager’s technical direction, with Michael Clewes overseeing lighting and systems support, and David Fabri in charge of video mixing and camera operation, our team’s collaborative effort played a pivotal role in the ceremony’s success. This event was a testament to Red Globe’s adaptability and our commitment to technical excellence.
This project was a celebration of the academic achievements of Christ College’s graduates. It also showcased Red Globe’s capability to elevate significant milestones with superior technical production services. Every moment was captured and delivered with the highest quality and professionalism.
